Message from Imam Makeen:
Assalamu Alaykum Waramatullahi Wabarakatoh Brothers and sisters.

Eid will be on Sunday 24th of May InshaAllahu’ Ta’ala.

I will record the Eid prayer on ICY Facebook at 9:00 AM on this Sunday in Shalla.

Eid Mubarak to you and your family. My Allah except from you all your good deeds. “And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians” (Quran) Ibn Taymiyah Says: “Indeed we are in a happiness that if the kings have known about, they would have fought for it with swords”

As per the WA Governor’s announcement on mandatory statewide stay-at-home order and the ban on all gatherings including spiritual gatherings, Islamic Center of Yakima will continue to be temporarily closed until further notice.

There will be no Eid prayers at the Mosque.

We will continue to monitor this situation and as new information becomes available, we will provide additional updates. May Allah protect all of us and our families.
