As-salamu Alaikum Respected Brothers and Sisters:
May Allah Accept from us and from you, and many returns to you in good health and spirit, and Ramadan Mubarak to you! – Hijri Year 1441!
May Allah Protect you and Watch over you, and May He Relieve us from the trial of the Coronavirus and Grant us an exit from it – safe and prosperous Insha-Allah.
Insha-Allah, we anticipate the start of the Blessed month of Ramadan to be Friday, April 24, 2020, or Saturday, April 25, 2020.
You’ll find all prayer times and Iftar times on the calendar schedule at our web locations, as follows.
Please connect with us on Facebook to stay up to date on announcements regarding Ramadan and Eid:
- The night of the 27th will coincide with Tuesday, May 19, 2020, or Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
- Eid ul Fitr will be Sunday, May 24, 2020, or Monday, May 25, 2020.
- Eid Prayer: Takbeerat will start at 8:30 AM, and prayer will begin at 9:00 AM.
PLEASE NOTE: At this time, it looks like the Coronavirus restrictions will continue through Ramadan. I advise my Muslim brothers and sisters to adhere to the 5 daily prayers at their appointed times in your homes and workplaces; as I advise you to perform Taraweeh prayers in congregation, with your families (only), at home, led by those of you who are most versed (most memorized) in the Noble Quran; as I advise you to adhere to the etiquettes/manners/requirements of Islam and to spread its teachings to your family members and to abstain from what Allah Ta’aalaa has Prohibited, and to perform the Obligatory act of fasting to its complete excellence and rigor, and to read from the Hadiths of the Rasoul (Messenger) of Allah, Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him, every day with your family and children for 5-10 minutes and especially from the book “Riyad al Saliheen” (“The Gardens of the Righteous”); and to pay your Zakat and Sadaqahs especially in these difficult times and circumstances. And many returns to you in good health and spirit.
